- November 1995 - news release announcing the formation of CalFASA
- January 1996 - met with the Alberta Liberal Caucus
- January 1996 - issued a news release against the final 3% cut
- February 1996 - wrote to Minister Ady regarding the lack of faculty at the
Minister’s Forum
- February 1996 - release first CalFASA Report along with a news release
- March 1996 - issued a news release asking that Albertan’s support PSE in the
government’s reinvestment questionnaire
- April 1996 - meeting with Calgary Conservative Caucus
- April 1996 - met with the Calgary Herald Editorial Board
- May 1996 - wrote to Liberal Leader Grant Mitchell regarding the lack of communication
with the Liberals
- June 1996 - met with the Minister of Advanced Education
- June 1996 - helped initiate the provincial coalition, SAFE
- November 1996 - Minister invites CalFASA to send 2 reps to the Minister’s Forum
- January 1997 - met with Alderman Joanne Kerr
- January 1997 - met with a rep from the Alberta Teacher’s Association
- February 1997 - 2nd CalFASA Report was released with news release and news conference
- February 1997 - news release asking provincial candidates to place priority on PSE
- March 1997 - presentation to intergovernmental affairs committee of City Council
- March 1997 - news release asking for City Hall support
- March 1997 - acting Mayor sends letter to Premier; CalFASA sends letter everywhere else
- June 1997 – wrote to the Premier, Minister, and MLAs congratulating them on their
election win and asking for a meeting
- August 1997 – wrote to the Calgary Economic Development Authority and the Calgary
Chamber of Commerce suggesting a meeting
- August 1997 – forwarded documents to the Growth Summit
- September 1997 – met with Liberal Leader Grant Mitchell and Critic Howard Sapers
- September 1997 – met with Andy Marshall from the Calgary Herald
- October 1997 – wrote to MPs asking for meetings
- October 1997 – met with the Calgary Economic Development Authority
- October 1997 – the Calgary Economic Development Authority wrote to the Chamber of
Commerce on our behalf
- October 1997 – met with ND Critic Raj Pannu
- November 1997 – met with the Calgary Conservative Caucus
- November 1997 – attended the Minister’s Forum
- November 1997 – held our first strategy conference
- December 1997 – met with MLA Gary Dickson
- January 1998 – met with MP Eric Lowther
